Edgewood and Davison

The weather was perfect last Friday for a leisurely ride through Detroit.

Follow up:

Our trip began in the Conant alley and to Miller Street. Our timing was poor, just as the mosque was finishing the weekly service. Past the thriving area on Miller near the mosque is the I-94 de-Industrial Park.

After crossing Van Dyke, we jogged north to Marcus Street.

The pastor and his wife at "Wings as Eagles" rented this water slide for the kids in the neighborhood.

Another active member of Edgewood has taken to posting signs.

The trailer is the residence of Mr Stewart, the inventor.

We turned North on Gratiot, and then followed Connor along the edge of the airport. When we reached Mt. Olivet cemetery, we entered the East section, took the tunnel under Connor, and continued through the cemetery, and out onto Vandyke. We eventually rode along the Davison, home of Archer Records and Bev's Backstreet Lounge, toward Hamtramck.
